We can do simple name and phrase translations for personal (non-business related) use for $25 per word, and for commercial use for $75 per word. We will provide you with a jpeg image that can be printed or used on your website. If you would like a printed version on an 8.5"x11" sheet with border, please add $15 on the order form. Have your name or the name of someone special designed into an attractive piece of Arabic calligraphy artwork.

Internationally renowned artist and calligrapher Mamoun Sakkal will design a one-of-a kind piece of artwork incorporating your name.

Designs are done in several styles:

• Square Kufi, a bold and simple style of calligraphy which lends itself well to decorative designs.
• Monumental Kufi is the classic style used often for commemorative panels in architecture.
• Eastern Kufi, an elegant and slender style which is simplified to meet today's tastes.
• Jali Thuluth is one of the most elegant and impressive styles of formal Arabic calligraphy.

Names for Weddings: These designs are used to grace wedding invitations and to stay as an elegant reminder of a once in a life time celebration. Two first names or two initials are combined to form one lovely design. In addition to the four color prints indicated below, you will receive the artwork in a format that would allow you to use it in printing or gold foil stamping.

Please mail your name(s) in Arabic or English, along with brief information about your personality, any color preferences, any comments relating to the design. Also specify if you want the design in Square Kufi or Eastern Kufi.

The cost is $600 per design, plus $18 for shipping and handling in the United States, and $40 for other countries, to be prepaid in US funds to Sakkal Design, and mailed with above information to our address below. The finished design will be mailed to you in four weeks. You will receive four color inkjet prints of your name design on 11"x15" paper, signed and numbered by the artist. Additional signed and numbered prints of the design are available for $20.00 each. Four additional prints of the design may be kept by the artist to be used in portfolio and in art exhibitions.
